Installation view, ART SG 2025. Photo by Jing Wei Wong.
MAKI Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in the third edition of ART SG, the leading contemporary art fair in Southeast Asia, with a presentation of works by Anne Kagioka Rigoulet and Shiori Tono.
Combining fabric collage with traditional oil and mural painting techniques, Kagioka expresses the fluid, dynamic energy of water reflections with vibrant colors and exquisite materiality. Tono captures the fleeting and elusive nature of memory by transforming photos from her early childhood, as well as those she has recently taken of everyday scenes, into paintings through a unique process. We invite you to experience the respective worldviews of these two emerging artists in person at the fair.
