MAKI Gallery is pleased to present baanai / Javier Martin, a special exhibition featuring works of Kanagawa-based artist baanai and Spanish artist Javier Martin at ISETAN The Space located on the second floor of ISETAN Shinjuku starting March 9th (Wed.). This is MAKI Gallery’s second exhibition held at ISETAN Shinjuku, following a show held in April of last year. On view will be a selection of works, including new works created specifically for this show, by both baanai, who is currently holding his debut solo exhibition at MAKI Gallery / Tennoz II, Tokyo and Javier Martin who will be exhibiting in Japan for the first time in three years and further develops his signature neon light Blindness series.

In addition, the windows of the main building are currently showcasing six artists from MAKI Gallery including baanai, Javier Martin, Kaz Oshiro, Satoru Tamura, Shiori Tono, and Takuro Tamura.
