MAKI Gallery is pleased to present Japanese artist Tomohito Ushiro’s first solo exhibition, Pointed, at Omotesando, Tokyo. The show will focus solely on Ushiro’s physical artworks, marking a new chapter for the artist who has worked for many years in the forefront of digital media as an art director. Pointed features eleven canvas paintings and three sculptures that visualize Ushiro’s thoughts on echoing, expanding on, or differentiating from his past practice as his earlier digital creations transition into materially textured works of art.
